Princess Jawhara Bint Khaled has lauded the efforts and achievements of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) in the categories of education, work of da'wa and care of youth. Presiding over the annual seminar of the women's section at WAMY here earlier this week, Princess Jawhara said WAMY did more than what was expected from it in and outside the Kingdom, helping poor and needy people worldwide and stressing the importance of the role of women in the development of society. The ceremony was attended by more than 800 participants from business, education and other sectors of the women's community. A bazaar of homemade products, and an artwork and photography exhibition were organized with the cooperation of many charitable organizations, said Samia Salik, information officer at WAMY's women's section.
