J.J. Redick had 23 points and career highs of eight assists and seven rebounds in place of an injured Vince Carter as he helped the Orlando Magic beat the Denver Nuggets 103-97 Sunday night. Redick played a career-high 46 minutes after Carter injured his right big toe. The Magic also got a big boost with 19 points from reserve Ryan Anderson for their 13th win in the last 15 games. Carmelo Anthony had 26 points and eight rebounds, and Chauncey Billups finished with 18 points for the struggling Nuggets, who have lost four of their past five games. Spurs 94, Celtics 73: At Boston, Manu Ginobili scored 28 points, and Richard Jefferson had 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead San Antonio over the Celtics. Tim Duncan had eight points and nine rebounds, and DeJuan Blair added seven points and 11 boards for the Spurs, who have won 12 of 16 to move into a three-way share of sixth place with Portland and Oklahoma City in the Western Conference. Paul Pierce scored 18 points, and Kevin Garnett had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Boston.
