Portsmouth claims FA Cup

Nwankwo Kanu scored a first-half goal Saturday for Portsmouth to beat Cardiff 1-0 and win the FA Cup final for the first time since 1939.
The Nigerian striker punished a fumble by Cardiff goalkeeper Peter Enkelmann in the 37th minute of the 127th FA Cup final to give manager Harry Redknapp his first major trophy in 25 years of coaching.
Bidding to become the first lower league team to win the famous trophy since West Ham beat Arsenal in 1980, League Championship club Cardiff threatened occasionally. But Kanu had one of the worst misses in the world's oldest domestic cup competition when he hit the post in the 22nd faced by an open goal.
Del Piero top scorer
Juventus striker Alessandro Del Piero became Serie A's top scorer when he netted twice in a thrilling 3-3 draw at Sampdoria in their final game of the season on Saturday.
The 33-year-old, hoping for an Italy recall for Euro 2008, took his league tally to 21 to win a personal battle with teammate David Trezeguet, who only scored once to finish on 20.
Inter Milan will retain its Serie A title with a win at Parma on Sunday but AS Roma can snatch a surprise scudetto if it wins at Catania and Inter slip up on a tense final day.
Rangers drop points
Rangers dropped two vital points in a 1-1 draw at Motherwell on Saturday to hand rival Celtic the initiative in the Scottish Premier League title race.
Celtic tops the standings on 86 points with one match left against Dundee United on Thursday. Rangers are second on 83.
CSKA bags Cup of Russia
CSKA Moscow rallied from two goals down Saturday to beat Amkar in a penalty shootout 4-1 and win the Cup of Russia for the fourth time.
CSKA also won the title in 2002 and 2006. Amkar, from Perm, reached the final for the first time in its 15
