78 finish Toastmaster's leadership training workshops in Riyadh

At least 78 students from the Palm Crest International School (PCIS) have finished a four-week intensive leadership training workshop dubbed as “Youth Leadership Program”, given by the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountant (PICPA) – Riyadh Toastmasters Club held at the school premises, organizers said here Sunday.
The graduation ceremonies showcased the joint efforts and strong rapport between the students, administration and the coordinators from the PICPA-Riyadh Toastmasters.
Ron Jacobe, a notable speaker from the PRTC, was guest speaker. In his message, Jacobe motivated the students to improve their communication skills to help them become successful in their relationship they build with people which would be vital to reaching their goals.
The seminar workshop sought to bring the tools of effective speaking and leadership to the forefront as these are especially designed to present the basics of toastmastering to younger generations. Sophomores, juniors and seniors registered and participated in the YLP sessions.
PICPA-Riyadh Toastmasters members headed the eight sessions, which started Jan. 14 until February 11, covering topics on improving students public speaking and leadership potentials as well as utilizing their listening and analytical skills.
The leadership training-workshops also conducted customary sessions which is regularly featured in a regular Toastmaster's meeting: Prepared Speech Session, Table Topics Sessions and the Evaluation Session. Selected speakers from each grade level presented the skills they learned by delivering prepared and impromptu speeches as well as evaluation. The speakers were as follows:
