Kolkata ends3-game slump

A composed 50 by skipper Saurav Ganguly and a late blitz by M. Tiwary (75 not out) helped Kolkata Knight Riders outplay Kings XI Punjab by 39 runs and end their three-match slump in the Indian Premier League here Friday.
Kolkata started slowly but steadily with opener Ganguly controlling the things initially and Tiwary expolded in the last over against Pathan to put up a decent total.
Punjab never built up a partnership and lost wickets at regular intervals.
