The Summary Court in Al-Ahsa has sentenced a 23-year-old woman to death for throwing the infant child of her sister to his death from the second floor of their house. The woman said she wanted to get rid of the baby who was “born out of wedlock.” The mother was sentenced to 11 months in prison and 90 lashes of the whip. The mother was made pregnant by a man she met through the Internet.
