day second Human Resources Forum to be held here starting May 18 will highlight the role of human resources in the face of financial crisis. The forum, under the patronage of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah Region, is being organized by Dr. Ihab Hassan Aburokbah in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor and the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The forum aims to activate the role of human resource departments with a view to improving the performance of businesses to meet contemporary challenges. The forum, Aburokbah said, seeks to highlight the role of human resources in the face of financial crisis and addresses the importance of restructuring and developing systems to tackle emergency situations. Participation in the forum will be from all levels starting with leaders in global human resources, leading international and local specialists, human resources decision makers and managers of human resources as well as university students, recruitment and planning managers, experts and consultants in human resources.
