Five pretty, young and talented children were crowned princesses in the recently-concluded search for “Miss Little United OFW 2010” during the Grand Coronation Night and Awarding Ceremonies held last Friday at the Philippine embassy Diplomatic Quarter, organizers said here Thursday. Crowned as top five Miss Little United OFW for 2010 were First Princess Mona Hussein, Second Princess Lovely Ocido, Third Princess Ella Navarro, Fourth Princess Jumairah Inda and Fifth Princess Alex Pidlaoan. Besides the winning five beauties, also crowned as Princesses are Tracy Getez, Sarah Bahaynon, Kite Burgos, Fayzah Naval and Dominique Brioso. Special Awards were also presented to the Third Princess Ella Navarro for “Best in Gown,” Second Princess Lovely Ocido for “Miss Talent,” Princess Fayzah Naval for “Miss Photogenic,” Fourth Princess Jumairah Indar for “Miss Congeniality,” and First Princess Mona Hussein as “Miss Shdaif Computers with Princess Maimai Mua as Guest Candidate. The awarding of trophies, crowning and pinning of sash were graced by the reigning Miss United OFW 2009 Miss Sharmaine Calivo, First Runner-up Raiza Tiamson with Charisse Sumbillo and Pia Marie Paulican, Miss Rose Santos, Miss United OFW2003 was one of the judges in the Special Awards. Members of the panel of Judges were Sharmaine Calivo, Reigning Miss United OFW 2009, Mon Torres, Rose Santos, Sheina del Carmen, and Terry Remo, chairman of the Board of Judges. Master of ceremonies were Elmer Aquino, Ethernet Aquino and Sarah Perez. Cultural Attache Sheila Solas grace the occasion to represen Ambassador Antonio Villamor who was on an important trip to Yemen. Solas read the written message of Villamor. The Search for Miss United OFW was established in 2003 months after its foundation day. Upon popular request, the Executive Board headed by Ali Mua, an engineer, gave launched the second search by a committee headed by Juliet Aquino in October 2009.
