Teen sensation Miley Cyrus makes her first appearance as a guest mentor on “American Idol” this week and will perform her latest hit on Wednesday's results show, the Fox television network said Monday. Cyrus, 17, will give advice to the 11 remaining contestants as they prepare for a week of Billboard Number One hits for Tuesday's live TV performances. Cyrus is also the first celebrity mentor on the TV singing contest this year, apart from guest judges like Shania Twain and Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham during the nationwide auditions rounds. The star of Disney Channel's “Hannah Montana” TV show will be joined by other young Disney music stars Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato as performers on the March 24 results show.
