The Zain Saudi Professional League champion Al-Hilal will face the eighth-placed team Al-Fateh in the King's Cup. Tuesday's draw, attended by Prince Sultan Bin Fahd, President of the General Presidency of Youth Welfare (GPYW), and his deputy Prince Nawaf Bin Faisal Bin Fahd, also set up a match between Saudi League runner-up Al-Ittihad and seventh-placed club Al-Hazm. In other encounters Al-Nasr faces Al-Ahli, while Al-Wehdah is pitted against Al-Shabab. The clubs were divided into two levels according to their results in the domestic league. Al-Hilal, Al-Shabab (winner of Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Cup), Al-Ittihad and Al-Nasr were in the first group while Al-Ahli, Al-Wehdah, Al-Hazm and Al-Fateh former the other. The first two rounds of the competition will be two-legged, the third and fourth position match as well as the final will be one-off games. The first round will be played April 3-5, while second leg matches will be played April 8-9. The semifinal first-leg matches will be played April 20-21, while the second-leg games will be played April 29-30.
