The “Jeddah: Museum Beneath The Sun” exhibition opens Wednesday at the Jeddah Hilton hotel with a diverse display of photography and sculpture from Saudi Arabia and abroad. Well-known veteran photographer Khaled Khidhir, who has staged nearly 130 exhibitions of his work around the world during his 40 years behind the lens, has a display at the exhibition. “This one is a bit different in that it's not just about my works, although I have my own gallery at the show, as there are images by foreign artists in Jeddah, and photographs from foreign photographers,” Khidhir said. The exhibition, which opens at 8.30 P.M., will also see the launch of a book by the same name, which Khidhir says “captures Jeddah's contemporary history and bygone days”.
