Crown Prince Sultan, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, has donated SR60 million for the building of a college in the Eastern Province for people who are visually disabled. The Crown Prince made the announcement Monday at a ceremony held in his honor by the Emirate of the Eastern Province. Addressing the gathering, Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd, Emir of the Eastern Province, said that the people of the region have donated a building for the college, the first of its kind in the Middle East. The college's construction committee has also sought the help of international experts to help build the facility, he said. Prince Turki Bin Muhammad Bin Fahd briefed the Crown Prince on the vision, objectives, and mission of the college, which will be named the Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz College for the Visually Disabled. Crown Prince Sultan will Tuesday visit Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Science and Technology Center (Scitech) of the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. During the visit he will inaugurate the King Fahd Conference Hall and lay the foundation stone of the university's endowments project.
