Two children and an old woman died in a fire in Butuan City, authorities said Wednesday. Inspector Patricio Vasquez, city fire marshal, identified the fatalities as Lourdes Naduma, 83; siblings Henry Sagado, 7 and Dianne, 5. Vasquez said Naduma had a heart attack while the blaze was quickly spreading in houses in barangays Ong-Yiu and San Ignacio around 2 P.M. Tuesday. He said investigators are looking at arson as the possible cause of the blaze after some residents claim they saw two men throwing a bottle of gasoline in one of the houses before the fire broke out.
