West Indies wrapped up a 4-1 series win over Zimbabwe Sunday with a crushing four-wicket victory in the final game of the one-day series at Arnos Vale, St Vincent. Zimbabwe, which had won the opening game of the series, recovered from 25-5 to make 161 all out in 50 overs with Charles Coventry's leading the recovery with 56. West Indies skipper Chris Gayle blasted 63 from 41 balls. Zimbabwe though once again forced a wobble in the West Indies middle order with a mini-collapse bringing the Caribbean team to 104 for five. But Kieron Pollard and Denesh Ramdin recaptured the momentum with a partnership of 49 runs from 34 balls with Pollard particularly aggressive in his knock of 36 from 20 balls, including three sixes.
