The concept of National Dialogue will be further expanded and it is hoped that future sessions of King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue would see close to four million people participating in it. Addressing a symposium organized as part of the Riyadh Book Fair here on Thursday, Dr. Faisal Bin Muammar, Secretary General of the King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue, said the earlier eight sessions have consolidated the elements of national unity and established common ground for the participation of all segments of society in the dialogue. The symposium was entitled “National Dialogue and its Role in Strengthening the Concepts of Moderation and Tolerance”. Bin Muammar said King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, had laid the foundation of the center to serve as a platform for exchanging the opinions of all parts of society instead of confining dialogue to the elite. He said that this had deepened the concept of national unity, moderation and tolerance especially in the minds of the youth. He said that King Abdullah stressed the importance of expanding the training programs held by the center and in order to increase the number of participants from 170,000 to four million. Bin Muammar said that the center had conducted several enlightenment programs and signed agreements with ministries, universities and international organizations to promote the principles of dialogue. He also highlighted the efforts the center has made to widen the spheres of dialogue and participation by advocating principles of national unity and deemphasizing regionalism and the classifying of people according to their political points of view. Meanwhile, the women's section of the Enlightenment and Social Rehabilitation Society is scheduled to hold a two-day workshop here Tuesday in participation with the King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue. The workshop, entitled “Our dialogue with our children”, aims to spread the culture of dialogue in society and enlighten families about the most effective ways to solve family problems through the development of the dialogue skills of mothers. The workshop will be held at the “Pioneering Kindergarten Schools” in Riyadh's Ashbilyia District under the supervision of the trainer Maha Al
