Police in the west of Riyadh say that a man in his seventies whose body was found on Monday inside a car in the desert most probably shot himself by accident. The man had been reported missing a week earlier by relatives and was found 115 km to the south of Al-Houmiyat in the desert region of Hadhaba Mankhara in a vehicle containing hunting weapons, with his body having suffered a single bullet wound in the right hand side. Police are still waiting for a full autopsy report but initial investigations, officials said, point towards accidental death.
