The new Gazal 1 Concept car from Riyadh's King Saud University (KSU) is shown during the press day at the 80th Geneva International Motor Show, Tuesday in Geneva, Switzerland. The Gazal 1, a Mercedes-Benz G class-based SUV, was developed as part of a project by 55 KSU vehicle engineering students. Two Italian automotive firms helped with the design and manufacture of the vehicle, which is named after the Arabian gazelle. The car on display at the Geneva Motor Show is a full-sized styling model. There are plans to present a functioning prototype at KSU later this year. The Geneva Motor Show which runs until March 14, is presenting over 1,000 brands with more than 100 World and European firsts.
