A four-wheel drive vehicle that crashed into a street lamppost in Al-Darab in Jizan on Sunday was found by officers attending the scene to be transporting seven persons who had entered the Kingdom illegally. Police said the driver of the car was detained along with his passengers, one of whom was taken to hospital after suffering minor injuries in the crash.
