Unidentified body found in Makkah

Investigators are seeking to establish the identity of a body found wrapped in cloth and abandoned in the Arafat area of Wadi ‘Arna in Makkah on Thursday. A police spokesman said that a forensic report was being prepared but speculated that the deceased may have overstayed the permitted length of a pilgrimage visa.
