Two microlight pilots escaped injury when their motorized hang glider collided with electricity lines as they took off in Al-Majma'a Thursday. The pilots were preparing to photograph the sights of the town to the southeast of Buraidah, but shortly after taking to the skies the microlight deviated from its path and hit power lines which disabled the engine and set fire to the wings. The pilots escaped the fall uninjured, but firemen rushed to extinguish the flames which destroyed the aircraft, and electricians set about reconnecting power to the region which was cut off for over an hour.
