King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, ordered a monthly allowance of SR3,000 to the parents of the martyrs who contributed in the expulsion of infiltrators from the southern border if it is proved that the martyrs were the only breadwinners of their families. The King also ordered that a SR500,000 residential unit be provided to each martyr's family in the area of its choice and giving each one of them an urgent financial aid of SR100,000. As per the Royal Order all the martyrs will be promoted to the direct higher military rank and given the maximum salary of the rank in addition to the service allowances and benefits. One of the martyr's sons will be appointed on his father‘s post, according to defined rules. Each martyr's debts – not exceeding SR500,000 – should be documented in a Sharia court so as to be paid on his behalf. Each martyr will be decorated with King Abdul Aziz Medal of Third Grade and Honor Medal. The Royal Order stipulates that officers suffering from complete disability will be promoted to the direct higher rank and given the maximum salary of the rank. They will be given a maximum financial aid of SR10,000. The King also ordered the promotion of injured non-commissioned officers and soldiers to the direct higher rank besides being decorated with honor medals. A committee will be formed of the National Guard, Presidency of the General Intelligence and ministries of Defense and Aviation and Interior to draft rules to implement the King's Decree.
