Raith seized Thursday 108 blocks of hashish weighing 54kg after observing a vehicle making its way through difficult terrain near the town of Amoud. Jizan Police said that a precarious pursuit ensued but that the smuggler's efforts to elude patrols failed and that they finally stopped the vehicle after nearly one hour and discovered the drugs in side.
