A man from Qassim said by authorities to be “mentally ill” who had been missing for a week was found alive in the desert in the southeast of Afif on Monday. Officials said the man was found “completely exhausted” after his car had got stuck in the sands in the region northeast of Dhulum, and when his identity was verified it transpired that he was the same man reported missing a week earlier in Qassim.
