Police arrested here early Tuesday morning a Yemeni suspect who had the previous night allegedly stabbed a young woman to death and seriously injured her sister before fleeing the crime scene. Neighbors reported the crime to the police who cordoned off the area 200 meters around the crime scene. The dead woman was found with 12 stab wounds all over her body. Her sister, who had been stabbed eight times, was taken to hospital in a critical condition. The sisters were identified as Yemenis. Following tip-offs from eye-witnesses and neighbors, the police launched a search for the alleged killer in three nearby districts. They found him hiding out in an apartment building in Rawdah District. The motive for the crime has not yet been determined.
