A drugs dealer described as “one of the biggest in the city” burst into tears on Friday after a several-week surveillance operation led to a raid on his house where police found a stash of hashish and Captogon pills. Police said the dealer operated with extreme caution, rigging up a network of CCTV cameras around his house to observe movements in the street and callers to his door, enabling him to refuse entry to the site to anyone he deemed suspicious. Officers caught him by surprise in a raid on his house conducted after they had disconnected the camera network, and upon his arrest the dealer reportedly was unable to contain himself and broke down in floods of tears.
