The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) on Sunday handed back to Egypt three stolen Pharaonic artifacts. The three pieces – a 5-cm-long pestle used in preparing make-up, a bronze Greek coin 3.5 cm in diameter, and a bronze arrowhead of 4.5cm in length – had, according to Ashraf Al-Ashmawi of Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities, been sent to the Kingdom by mail. “The three pieces go back to Pharaonic times, that's around 3,000 years,” Al-Ashmawi said.
