A man whose home was damaged in the November floods waits with his son on a sidewalk in Jeddah Sunday for a compensation check. Authorities are still working to process compensation checks for owners of 9,900 flood-damaged vehicles. Compensation will be paid out to the owners of vehicles deemed to be flood-damaged by the Civil Defense authorities. The vehicle needs to be inspected for damage incurred, but many owners still cannot locate their vehicles, which may deny many any compensation.
