The city of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Zarqa'a Province, Jordan has opened its doors for its first Jordanian family. The company working on the project celebrated the first residents. The city project is yet the largest developmental modern housing project in the history of Jordan featuring 70,000 units that can accommodate up to 500,000 people. The project located in eastern Al-Zarqa'a Province is expected to be fully operational in 2011. The company executing the project has finished the first phase of the project with 124 complexes. About 270 housing complexes are projected to be done during the current second phase that stretches to the end of 2008. The city comes fully equipped with state-of-the-art services at international standards, including health, recreational, social and cultural centers, schools and malls. Okaz __
