Rajih Abdu Al-Nahsri, the son who used to do magic with his foot when he was a member of his town soccer team, said “I was dreaming of becoming a distinguished player before, but now my dreams are shattered.” The young man's 70-year-old father, Abdu Nashri, said as his son was moved to the hospital shortly after the accident, where doctors said his injury was a fracture in the pelvic sending him to Al-Noor hospital. According to the father, the approval from Noor Hospital to receive his son was immediately granted but Al-Qunfuda hospital did not discharge him immediately and didn't treat him either. He said that the diagnosis at Noor Hospital showed that the young man's right leg needed to be cut off from above the knee due to blood clotting caused by poor blood circulation. A source at Qunfuda Health Department said the Hospital received an inquiry on the complaint from Jeddah Health Department. He said a committee will be formed to look into the incident depending on the patient's file. In case negligence was proved, responsible parties would be dealt with firmly. Okaz __
