Very little is known publicly about the elusive and mysterious Huma Abedin, who currently serves as Clinton's traveling chief of staff and according to Clinton herself, is one of her two deputy chiefs of staff. Born in 1976 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, she is the daughter of a Muslim Indian father who was a Middle Eastern scholar and a Pakistani mother, Dr. Saleha Abedin, a Sociology professor at the college. __
