Police are investigating the death of a foreign resident following a fire that started from a gas leak at a house in the Al-Khalidiya District here on Monday. The man, whose nationality has yet to be established, is believed to have lit a spark in the kitchen without knowing that gas had been leaking from a canister. “The fire started at a bachelor's housing block mostly housing foreigners,” a police official said. “We have not ruled out foul play.”
