The Ministry of Health plans to do away with the need for paper by ensuring its operations are run electronically, according to Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeah. He was speaking during the signing of a three-year memorandum of understanding with the governor of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) Ali Al-Ghufais in Riyadh Sunday. Al-Rabeah said the TVTC has “good training capabilities” and the ministry will benefit from it in terms of training programs, computerization and exchange of expertise. Al-Ghufais said the TVTC will employ all its capabilities for the health sector. According to the agreement, the ministry will finance information technology training programs for its personnel and the TVTC will oversee management and supervision, monitor training and the quality of the outcome.
