A 29-year-old woman has been detained on charges of throwing bleach on her infant daughter. Al-Jafar Police said they were informed by an Al-Ahsa hospital that a six-month-old child had been admitted with burns to the face, and investigators heard from the mother that an argument between her and another wife of her husband had provoked the incident in which she threw chemicals on her daughter's face. Police said that mother was being held at a female detention home pending investigations.
