Eleven international experts in the field of combating terrorism working with the UN, European Union and the Arab League are scheduled to participate in the scientific workshop being organized by the Commission for Investigation and Prosecution (CIP) in cooperation with the UN Bureau for Combating Crime and Drugs in the Middle East and North Africa. The three-day workshop in Riyadh starting Feb. 20 is entitled “International Legal Framework for Combating Terrorism and its Financing”. The participants will cite examples from international efforts against terrorist activities, especially legislative measures in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. They will also highlight the strenuous efforts being exerted by Prince Naif Arab University for Security Sciences in the field of fighting terrorism menace. All research papers presented during the workshop will be published on the CIP website.
