A drunken man in his early 30s was arrested for opening fire on a colleague over a trivial dispute. Brig. Yousuf Bin Ahmad Al-Qahtani, spokesman for the Eastern Province police department, said the assailant admitted to his crime saying he was drunk when he opened fire at the man. The assailant, Al-Qahtani said, confessed that he threw away the pistol in a sewage canal. Investigations are still continuing, the spokesman said.
