An Asian has been arrested for allegedly running a prostitution racket from his place of work. The arrested expatriate works as a machinery supervisor for a flood canal repair project in Al-Faisaliya District. The man, with the help of a compatriot, had turned a room for the storage of the project's machinery into a prostitution den. Police put the Bangladeshi under surveillance after being alerted to suspicious activities in the machinery storage room located on a dead-end street. While monitoring the location, security men observed that a woman and two men entered the room, but one man came out in less than a minute and remained outside the door. Police cordoned off the room and asked the man why he was standing outside the door. Upon being confronted, the man admitted that he was acting as a pimp for Indonesian woman. Misfr Al-Juae'd, Jeddah Police spokesman, said two men and the woman were arrested for being involved in immoral acts. He also called upon citizens to be aware of workers who may exploit their confidence.
