On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Emir of Riyadh Region, patronized Friday evening the annual grand horse races for the Kings cups for the local and imported horses which was organized by the Equestrian Club at King Abdul Aziz Equestrian Track at Al-Janadriyah. Upon arrival at the venue, Emir of Riyadh was received by Prince Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Saud Al-Kabeer, Prince Mit'eb Bin Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Commander of National Guard for Executive Affairs, who is also Chairman of the technical committees of the Equestrian Club; Prince Faisal Bin KhalEd Bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Asir Region, the Equestrian Club Manager, Rashed Al-Zinaidy and a number of officials. After the race, Prince Salman handed the winner's cup to Prince Mit'eb Bin Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Commander of National Guard for Executive Affairs, head of the technical committees at the Equestrian Club following the win of the horse Miqarreb of the sons of King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz. After the eighth round, Emir of Riyadh also handed the Cup of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the imported horses to Fawaz Al-Ghoraiban after his horse Wind Flow from the Al-Ghoraiban Stable in Kuwait won with the race. Prince Salman said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques had honored him with the patronization of the race. He also highlighted the support and care the King has been giving to the equestrian sport. He also underlined that the support had taken the equestrian sport to a high level at local and international events. The race was also attended by Prince Khaled Bin Abdullah Bin Abdurrahman, Prince Saud Bin Khaled Bin Abdullah Bin Abdurrahman, Prince Bandar Bin Saud Bin Mohammed Al-Saud, General Secretary for the National Commission for Wildlife Conservation and Development (NCWCD), Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Assistant Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Special Adviser to the Emir of Riyadh, Prince Ahmed Bin Fahd Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Prince Saud Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Prince Turki Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Prince Naif Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Prince Bandar Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz and a number of princes.
