Opposition Sen. Panfilo Lacson visited Guangdong province in China as well as Macau after leaving the Philippines last Jan. 5, a source from the National Bureau of Investigation said Friday. The NBI source said Lacson left Zhuhai City in Guangdong last Jan. 18 using passport number DP0001469. He then drove to Macau using a rented car on the same date. The source noted that a local court had yet to release an arrest warrant for Lacson at the time he was traveling. Lawyer Claro de Castro, chief of the NBI Interpol, said they have yet to receive confirmation about Lacson's January 18 trip. Lacson is facing murder charges before the Manila Regional Trial Court for allegedly masterminding the killing of publicist Salvador “Bubby” Dacer and his driver, Emmanuel Corbito. – ABS
