Police in Jeddah arrested on Wednesday a Syrian and two Sudanese males accused of purchasing electronic goods and jewelry with forged credit cards. Acting on numerous reports from shops and stores police identified the culprits and detained the two Sudanese men who were found in possession of receipts for the goods in question purchased with international credit cards of “unknown origin.” Police later arrested their Syrian colleague on whom they found two forged cards. A police spokesman said that investigations were continuing in order to establish the trio's connection with other similar thefts in the city.
