Five arrested over restaurant ‘khulwa'

The Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (the Hai'a) detained two males and three females on charges of “khulwa” – being alone without the company of a legal guardian – on Sunday. The five were removed from a popular restaurant in the industrial district of Yanbu and according to witnesses were led away by Hai'a staff after failing to produce evidence of a legal relationship between them.
