The epicenter was traced to 107 km southeast of General Santos, and was felt at Intensity I in the city. The United States Geological Survey said the quake was at magnitude-4.9, with the epicenter traced to 95 km south-southeast of General Santos City; 190 km south of Davao; 1,140 km south-southeast of Manila; or 2,460 km east-northeast of Jakarta, Indonesia.
