With about two weeks left for the first round of the World Rally Championship titled as Hail Baja Rally 2010, Toyota Saudi Rally Team driver Saleh Al-Saleh is raring to go, driving his Toyota FJ Cruiser Racer. Al-Saleh with his co-driver Amro Al-Refai, accompanied by the technical team, took a practice drive in Bahrah. Though the technical team has already completed everything to improve the performance of the car according to the FIA sporting codes this drive was to check the efficiency of the vehicle, one last time. Al-Saleh, expressed his satisfaction over the preparation. “I'm going ahead with practice and creating harmony among the team members. We have a great desire and confidence to achieve honorable results in this international event.” “This competition will be very strong especially among those who are professional drivers in addition to the participation of international teams. My first goal is to be among the top ten as this is my second participation here. We hope to bring laurels to Toyota Racing program.” The Toyota Saudi Rally team will participate with two rally cars; one is FJ Cruiser Racer which will be driven by Saleh Al-Saleh and his co driver Amr Al-Rifai and the second is FJ Cruiser Proto which will be driven by a famous and popular rally driver which will be revealed later. This car was rebuilt in Europe and truly represent ALJ- Toyota. It is the most unique rally car in the world which was completely rebuilt to participate in this rally, equipped with the latest motorsport technology specifically for Baja races. __
