Abdul Aziz Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information, attends a ceremony at King Fahd Cultural Center, in Riyadh, Saturday, to announce granting of the first-ever FM radio license in the Kingdom. The license worth SR75 million will enable the company – the alliance of Alf Alf – to broadcast from 30 locations in the Kingdom. The Ministry of Culture and Information had qualified 11 media alliances and companies for the submission of their financial bids for five FM radio licenses. The winners bidding for the remaining four licenses will be announced every two weeks until March 22.
