Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Legal Affairs Department processed 616 cases received by the department's Objection Division last year, a report showed. The total value of the cases amounted to SR132.6 million, including SR55.7 million for 355 cases of checks and SR76.8 million for 261 cases of bonds and bills of exchange. Three hundred and fifty-four cases were filed by individuals, while 138, 105 and 19 complaints were filed by businesses, banks and installment companies, respectively. The report added that the RCCI department had processed 109 cases of commercial dispute valued at SR29.9 million, with 17 cases having been settled and 30 withheld.
