A second batch of five Filipinos evacuated from quake-hit Haiti arrived in Manila Saturday morning. The repatriated Filipinos arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 on board Philippine Airlines flight 103 at 5:30 A.M. They were evacuated from Haiti to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic last Jan. 26 and travelled to Los Angeles before being sent back home to the Philippines. Carmelita Dimzon, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration chief, said at least 19 Filipinos were scheduled to arrive Saturday but the others were put on hold by the Dominican Republic due to a misunderstanding. In the 2nd batch of Filipino repatriates were Victor Toriso, his children Cristina, 10 and Allen Vincent, 6; Bernadette Villagracia and her 15-month-old baby Art Reynold. Villagracia said her husband is Haitian, but she had to leave him to save their baby from a pending epidemic in the Caribbean nation. - ABS
