She was speaking at a workshop here Wednesday organized by the National Home Health Care Foundation under the title “Basic Principles of Home Health Care”. The two-day series of workshops sponsored by Boeing contained 18 educational hours approved by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialists. “The workshops are part of the commitment of the National Home Health Care Foundations to strengthen the role of this important sector in the medical and social fields,” stated HRH Princess Adelah Bint Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, President of the National Home Health Care Foundation Western Province. Dr. Mohammed Bin Homran, supervisor of the home health care department at the Armed Forces Hospital in Tabuk and director of the Prince Khaled Bin Sultan Education Center, talked about equipment providing oxygen to patients in their homes and how doctors must be able to explain the use of such equipment to patients when they visit them at home. Lujainah Baghdadi, fundraising and public relations manager of the National Home Health Care Foundation – Western Province, said that the main target of organizing these workshops is to increase the efficiency of workers in the medical field. Evaluation forms were distributed to rate trainers and at the same time to measure the success of organizing such workshops.
