Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by Saudi Press Agency, is set to host the World 4th Conference of News Agencies to be held in 2013. International Council of World News Agencies has welcomed Saudi invitation to play host to the conference, during a meeting in Madrid last week. President of Spanish News Agency and the Chairman of the Second International Conference, praised SPA for its gesture and considered it as a willingness to boost co-operation among news agencies in the world, to exchange experience and knowledge and to contribute to serve humane issues. A Royal approval has also been issued in this regard. Director General of Saudi Press Agency Abdullah Bin Fahd Al-Hussein welcomed the decision, hoping that the conference would achieve its goals and give a push to constructive and balanced cooperation among news agencies. Al-Hussein lauded Abdul Aziz Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information, for his continuous support for SPA and encouraging it in all fields.
