Police in the capital say that a housemaid of Asian nationality has confessed to killing a 16-year-old in the courtyard of his house in the district of Al-Dawadami out of “revenge for his cruel treatment of her”. The body of the teenager was found strangled with bruises on the legs and grazes on the arms, and suspicions fell on the housemaid who first informed the family of the body. The woman confessed to investigators that she had planned the killing three days earlier because of his “bad treatment of her”, and had waited until the house was empty before lying in wait for her victim and throwing a thick cord around his neck and strangling him.
