The Traffic Department in Sabya has confiscated more than 3,000 motorbikes in a recent campaign to crack down on illegal residents. Officials said that the vast majority of the vehicles carried no registration plates or numbers identifying ownership. Over 1,380 car drivers had also been arrested during the crackdowns, according to the officials.
