Faisal, the Emir of Makkah and Chairman of the Region's Council, presided over the 14th session of the Council's first round at the emirate's premises in Makkah on Saturday. Following the meeting, the Council's Secretary General said Prince Khalid, along with the Council's members and in the presence of the provinces' governors, went through the items of the Region's ten–year strategic plan for services and facilities. He pointed out that the plan, which had been carried out by the concerned agencies in the region, had been designed in a way to identify the region's actual needs for services and facilities and their estimation cost.
